What is YCAST?
YCAST is a week-long program which prepares high school youth as leaders, both in the Church and in society.
What does YCAST stand for?
YCAST stands for Young Catholics Actively Serving Today.
Who is this training for?
This leadership training is geared for high school youth (9th -12th grade) but is preferably for those who are in 10th and 11th grade.
Participants should be aware of the following:
YCAST is not a retreat. It is a leadership training that is fun, but also hard work. The environment of prayer and liturgy are integral to the event.
Participants learn by doing. They will work with their small groups to put into practice the skills they learn during the week.
