In this course, participants will be introduced to the elements of comprehensive Young Adult Ministry. Explore the reality of the diverse young adult communities; study and reflect on the guiding documents for effective Young Adult ministry, and best practices to engage and accompany young adults in their journey finding themselves and Christ. This specialization will help you to either start or revitalize a young adult ministry in your parish.
The completion of this course is part of the ministry certification process. The Basic Certification is granted upon completion of the Parish Ministers Formation Program (PMFP) and the Young Adult Ministry Specialization Course. The Advance Certification is granted upon completion of the Continuing Ministry Formation Program (CMFP) and the Advance Course in Young Adult Ministry.
