The basic specialization course in Pastoral Juvenil Hispana (Hispanic Youth and Young Adults) Ministry is a 14-hour hands on training in which participants are introduced to the basic concepts of Pastoral Juvenil Hispana (PJH), it’s spirituality and the ecclesial and social dimension of this ministry.
Participants are also trained in basic Christian leadership skills to effectively engage young people and accompany them into an encounter with Christ. Participants will learn the basic steps to start a parish PJH ministry or revitalize an existing one. This course is designed under the ecclesial methodology of See, Judge (discern) and Act.
The completion of this course is part of the ministry certification process. The Basic Certification is granted upon completion of the Parish Ministers Formation Program (PMFP) and the PJH Specialization Course.
